A few weeks ago, we headed downtown to see the Balloon Glow. We loaded up all the kids, a picnic dinner, and lots of excitement and headed down as soon as David got off work. We ate dinner in the parking lot and then walked to Forest Park. We got there early enough to see some of the balloons still going up, which was really exciting! Emeline didn't cry the entire time we were there. She loved to see all of the colors and lights and enjoyed her first real stroller ride. The boys were fascinated with one balloon in particular that they were trying to get up. We ended up just sitting down on the grass and watching. They had fireworks at nine but we figured we could pass on that and left a little early to try and beat some of the traffic. ha! yeah right. It was crazy and it took us a good hour and a half to get home. Oh well, it was worth it.
