One of Those Days

Every once in a while we are blessed with a day that is just fun and relaxing. Last Saturday was one of those days.

We ended up with a whole bunch of free tickets to some things Downtown so we headed first, to the Science Center to see the IMAX Hubble show. After that, we went over to the Zoo and saw the Sea Lion Show. We walked around the zoo for a while and after that, saw some of our favorite animals. The kids were a little tired so we walked back up to our car which was conveniently located right next to one of my favorite spots in St. Louis. "Art Hill" totally reminds me of a scene you might find in Europe somewhere and when I come here I feel very in touch with my artistic side! It's absolutely gorgeous and on a good day (as opposed to the day we went with Marc and Liz and got caught in a downpour) there will be people picnicking, flying kites, and walking along the paths.

Caleb wanted to take our picture.

My boys wrestling.
Please ignore the water fountain spraying out of their heads! If you look closely you can even see the paddle boats in the water.

I think I might want to spend eternity with these guys!

Two of the Many Reasons...

why I love Jake. While I was cooking dinner the other day Jake decided to make a castle out of the canned goods. He was pretty proud of it.
This is how Jake ended up after the last session of General Conference. It cracks me up that he still hand the knife in his hands.

First Lost Tooth

Caleb lost his first tooth the other day at church. Jake and I stayed home with a cold so I didn't get to see it right away, but apparently he left class and went searching for David in Elders' Quorum. He brought it home to show me and wondered aloud if the tooth fairy was real.
I think he was satisfied with the Tooth Fairy's performance. Now that we've got the wiggling down, he can't wait to lose another.
