I have been re-reading all the talks from this fall's LDS General Conference and I was inspired by Elder Uchtdorf's Talk, Live the Gospel Joyful. I have decided to start a new project, one that I am really excited about! Here is the link. Let me know what you think :)
And just for some eye candy, here is Emeline shot with a new lens I am trying out. Wow, it's sharp!

Awkward Family Photos
I needed a little entertainment today so I decided to go through a bunch of funny family photos. I rediscovered some gems and learned that our family "awkwardness" is genetic. You can see why....

Anyway, awkwardness is a lovely trait to have in our family. It really helps you to fit in. We found that thrift and antique stores make great backdrops for creating a very uncomfortable scene. Also, a flagrant and nonexistent concern for what others think of you is a must. Enjoy!

Beauty MUST follow beauty, wouldn't you agree?

I don't know if I have anything that I could ever say about this photo. There are no words.

This is a prime example of the traditional Tacky Sweater Party. So sad I missed this one!

Antiques, Mother!!!

?

Because we all want to be Ethel Mertz and not Lucille Ball. Really.

I really don't understand what is going on here, but frankly, I don't need to.

There is a whole chain of events about to happen here...

Carrot anyone?

We come in peace.

We are a very leggy family.

Fashion was her forte!

Here! Take a Bruce Bogtrotter cake and have a happy birthday! I think... Don't say I never gave ya nothin.

Yup. Good times.

Halloween Heist
Halloween was an altogether, shady affair here in the Lou. Two vile henchmen robbed all the children of their candy and escaped with the loot. There was a reward set up for the capture of the criminals.

One witness claimed that, "The villeens were very creepy and sneaky and looked like jumping beans bouncing on the rooftops".

Supergirl appeared on the scene and flew to the rescue. She was able to track down the burglars in no time and returned the neighborhood to order.

Order restored! Now if we could just find where the stash of candy was hidden....

......all 900 pieces of it!
