David just finished up the two week long flower planting season at the temple. He logged about 110 hours in just two weeks. It was a long and difficult two weeks but so worth it! The grounds look fantastic and he was able to help many volunteers come and serve at the temple. We celebrated all that overtime by taking the kids out for a night on the town- Dewey's Pizza and cupcakes from Smallcakes. I love when I don't have to cook or clean up.

David ran his first 10K and rocked it! He looked good out there and we were able to come and cheer
him on. The kids were so excited for him and enjoyed the Bubble Bus that the race hired to blow bubbles. I had to wash my hair afterwards because it was so soapy!
My parents came to visit for a week and it was great fun. The highlights were birding, eating, shopping, watching Doc Martin and pedicures for Mothers' Day. The kids LOVE them some grandparents! It was a nice, relaxing visit and we enjoyed the company immensely. Thanks for fixing my lamp, Dad!
Jacob graduated to another belt in Tae Kwan Do and Master Edwards requested that they "dress to impress". That was right up our alley! We matched Jake's bow tie to his belt color.
Love the parents photobombing in the background. lol!
Jacob also had his program to graduate from kindergarten! Yay Jacob! His teacher this year was Mrs. Weber and she adored him. He has learned so much this year and has excelled in everything he put his mind to. OK, brag session over.

Last Saturday we went strawberry picking at Eckert's Farm in Belleville, IL. We wanted to make a pie so off we drove across the river. They let you eat as many as you want while you are out in the fields and we took that to heart. They were so juicy and delicious!

What a Goob!

Just because :)

I like that Emmy invited "marty" (that's what we call him at our house) to her tea party. And I like the pic of Jakey looking up at Caleb. Awwwww!
